The Recommended install is intended for users who prefer to let the installer make most of the decisions.

An Expert installation offers many advanced features that require a good knowledge of Linux to make the appropriate choices.

This window also contains Install or Update buttons to specify if this will be a new installation, or an upgrade of an earlier Linux-Mandrake system.
